boundaries
I shrink into the corner.
Feeling encroached upon.
Wondering if it is my own fault.
Remember when I used to hide behind you in airports and restaurants,
sleeping in my car so I could feel that all the doors were locked?
EMBRACE BOUNDARIES.
Boundaries move me from brokenness to safety. Boundaries say no one has more right to my body, spirit, mind, heart, and soul than me. Boundaries say I am a child of God, worth protecting and holding dear. Boundaries protect me from you, and me from me.
